Vinnie Bagwell, an artist born in Yonkers, will talk about the Enslaved Africans' Rain Garden project and some of her other works. The Enslaved Africans' Rock Garden will commemorate enslaved Africans that resided at Philipse Manor Hall. Six of these slaves were freed seventy-six years before the Emancipation Proclamation.
